What is Table Top Role Playning?
A tabletop role-playing game (or pen-and-paper role-playing game) is a form of role-playing game (RPG) in which the participants describe their characters' actions through speech. Participants determine the actions of their characters based on their characterization, and the actions succeed or fail according to a set formal system of rules and guidelines. Within the rules, players have the freedom to improvise; their choices shape the direction and outcome of the game.
How could this possibly aid in corporate team building?
RPGs put individuals in precarious predicaments where they must exhibit certain traits that are important in the work place. Creativity, trust, sharing work, sharing information, taking a hit for the team, doing your part, etc. By putting individuals in scenarios which they are not used to, traits that they ordinarily may not exhibit may shine though.
What if I don't care about team building?
While we specialize in creating enlightening experiences for corporate groups, what is most important to us is to create kick ass adventures that are fun for everyone. When planing your adventure, let our Game Master know you're just looking for a good time. We guarantee, thats exactly what you'll get! And like we ways say, you may even kill a dragon!
What to expect?
The whole experience will take approximately 6 hours, including game preparation, rules explanation and a wrap up discussion. There will be food & refreshments available. The whole experience can be either videoed or audio recorded. The corporate sponsor will be provided with an analysis of the session.
